About Me

A student once said more people learn to write from me because I refuse to let them fail. The truth is I do my very best to teach and expect students to do theirs to learn. I am tough but fair - never waste a student's time, nor do I waste mine. Friends say I am an intellectual, because I love to think, read and write as much as I love to laugh. I have a master's degree are in Theology and another in Biblical Studies. To complete those programs, I also learned to read Ancient Hebrew and Greek. My undergraduate diploma is in History and Humanities with a specialization in African American Studies. That led me to learn to read in French, Spanish and Italian. I love to help people learn. Years in the classroom and travels throughout the world have shown me the value of knowledge and the right to learn. More than that, I consider writing the most valuable skill a person can acquire. It gives them a voice.
