About Me
He attended the Community College of Allegheny County in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he attained his EMT-B and Paramedic certifications through the Pennsylvania Department of Health. Mr. Fischer furthered his education at American Public University System where he graduated with a bachelor of applied science degree majoring in health sciences. Mr. Fischer is certified as a National Registry Paramedic through the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians, and is board certified as a Tactical Paramedic by the International Board of Specialty Certifications. Mr. Fischer is also an ALCS and PALS Instructor through the American Heart Association, and an AHDR, AMLS, EMS Safety, GEMS, PHTLS, and PTEP Instructor through the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians. Mr. Fischer has ten years of medical and public safety experience, including positions within Pittsburgh and Richmond area hospitals, the Fire Department, EMS, and Federal Law Enforcement, where he not only served as a paramedic with an extended scope of practice, but also as a Federal Law Enforcement Officer.
