I'm an MFA 2D graduate of the Massachusetts College of Art and Design and I am trained in drawing, painting, printmaking, 3D/sculpture, graphic design, conceptual art and curatorial studies. I have been using Macs since the early 1990s. I was an Authorized Apple technician for many years and a very early adopter of the iPhone. I am also well versed in Windows and Adobe software such as Photoshop. I specialize in tutoring older learners and college students. I have worked with high school students preparing portfolios for art school submission, first year college students in foundation courses, college seniors working in their major studio concentrations, and graduate students completing their thesis work. I also enjoy working with adults who want to learn new skills in art or computer literacy. I have mentored individuals in informal settings, formal academic environments, and one-on-one professional training sessions. This wide variety of learning types has developed in me a sensitivity to a student's needs and concerns.
