I truly love helping students achieve their goals in improving their language skills (both languages as a first or a second language) and unlocking the doors to the many opportunities that speaking more than one language can open. I love everything about languages and learning them. In the past, I taught in a school setting, teaching English Language and Literature classes and AP English classes for 4 years in a Spanish speaking country. I have been a private tutor for nearly 5 years, and I love working with high school and college aged students, as well as adults. Outside of improving language skills, I have helped students prepare successfully for different standardized tests such as the TOEFL and the English portions of the SAT, as well as academic essay writing. I love helping my students grow and reach their goals. In my spare time I enjoy reading, hiking, exercising, and spending time outdoors.
