- I am a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts in Japanese and a minor in Anthropology.
- In 2016 I was lucky enough to study abroad in Sapporo, Japan, where my interest in participating in our international community began.
About Me
I'm currently studying in preparation for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test, or JLPT at the N2 level. While I can help students with any subject, I am most passionate about helping students learn grammar structures and verb conjugation. My teaching philosophy is flexible, and I like to try several teaching methods to find what students respond to the most because all students are individuals and don't learn the same way. Language learning can be frustrating, so I also hope to reassure students that any progress is positive. When I'm not studying or teaching, I enjoy watching movies, skateboarding, and going on bike rides.
