About Me

I tutor communication skills and public speaking skills because I have an intense degree of respect for the importance of these skills to success. Add to that, I firmly believe that each of us with our own unique personalities, styles and backgrounds, can be effective, positive, and dynamic communicators. I have had the pleasure and honor to help students and adults improve their communication and public speaking skills for over 20 years now. I am especially passionate about working with individuals who struggle with developing self-confidence to prepare and deliver powerful and engaging presentations; my goal is to help them accomplish their personal, academic and career goals. Because effective and dynamic communication skills are among those most highly rated for success in personal, academic, and business relationships, I am committed to helping communicators of various ethnic backgrounds, genders, ages and nationalities identify their goals and overcome barriers to fulfill their aspirations. I have a doctorate degree in Conflict Analysis and Resolution, a master's degree in Speech Communication and a bachelor's degree in Communication Arts. Among the most fulfilling experiences I have had are those where former students and/or workshop participants approach me years after our time together to convey how positively the lessons I shared impacted their lives and supported the accomplishment of their goals.
