About Me

Dr. Emily Fox DNP, APRN, NNP-BC, is a Board-Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner with a passion for evidence-based practice, education, professional development, and creating positive change. She takes pride in providing excellent care in the clinical arena and believes in bold action towards innovation. Dr. Fox earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2005 from The University of New Mexico, her Master of Science in Nursing with Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Certification in 2009 from Arizona State University, a Post-Master's Certificate in Conflict Management, Negotiation & Mediation in 2019 from The University of Alabama, and her Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2020 from The University of Alabama. Dr. Fox has worked in the clinical arena as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, since 2009, in both Neonatal Intensive Care Units and on both ground and air transport. She also previously served as an adjunct faculty and clinical instructor for the West Virginia University School of Medicine. Dr. Fox has conducted research as a primary investigator and participated as a co-investigator in multiple clinical trials. Currently, Dr. Fox practices in a private practice covering 11 Neonatal Intensive Care Units in the DFW area and serves as an Assistant Professor for the graduate nursing programs at the University of Texas at Arlington.
