About Me

My name is Dr. Quincita Dennis and I would love to assist you with your tutoring needs. I received my training as a Diagnostic Technologistfrom the U.S. Army Medical Department Center & School located in San Antonio, Texas in1997. I have in various roles including staff technologist, department supervisor, department manager, chief technologist, clinical coordinator, Radiation Protection Officer, QC technologist& PACS administrator. I beganteaching in Germany1998, where I was selected to teach CPR & PHTLS courses for clinical personnel. I later went on to become a hospital trainer in 2000 while working at Moncrief Army Medical Center locatedin Fort Jackson. In addition to teaching CPR & PHTLS, I was also theclinical coordinator for all Phase 2 Radiology Students receiving on the job training. Most of my experience has been with Department of Defense health care activities ranging from Level I trauma Centers to outpatient clinics servicing military personnel and theirfamily members. I received my first opportunity to work with a civilian agency in 2015 when I accepted a Radiologic Technology Program Director position at Aiken Technical College located in Aiken, South Carolina. After my husband retired in 2016, we relocated to Cumming, GA. InJan 2017 I began working as anAdjunct Instructor for Cambridge College & Lanier Technical College located in Oakwood, GA.My education includes a PhD in Educational Leadership, Masters in Public Health, Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science and Bachelor in Computer Science with a concentration in Cyber Security. I also received a certificate in Radiologic Technology and Pharmacy Technician. I currently live in Cumming, GA and I amthe Program Director for the Cambridge College Radiologic Technology Program Atlanta Campus. I live a busy life outside of school. I am married and we havesix children (ages: 27, 20, 17, 17, 12 & 7).Needless to say I love having the opportunity to tutor and teach future Radiologic Technologists!
