About Me

I am a first-generation professional student and alumna of Mills College. I graduated in 2018 with a BA in Public Health and Health Equity Studies and received a certificate in Homeland Security and Emergency Management in 2020. I'm a certified EMT and full-time student and aspire to become a family nurse practitioner. My earliest experiences in health education and tutor were as an instructional assistant in local CPR classes starting in 2013. Seven years later, I tutored undergraduate students of all ages and academic paths in Anatomy, Physiology, Pathophysiology, Microbiology, Patient Assessment, and Medical Sociology. I also provided test prep and application coaching for the TEAS, HESI, and NREMT to over 50 students since 2018.I firmly believe that promoting health equity begins with ensuring that our future health care providers' education is high-quality and accessible to all. As such, you can expect all of my sessions to be individually tailored to your needs and planned with Universal Design in mind.
