About Me

I currently work as a clinical laboratory scientist (CLS) for a major hospital in the Atlanta area. I graduated from Valdosta State University with a Bachelor's of Science in Chemistry and received a CLS certification from Emory Healthcare Medical Laboratory Science program. This is a 11 month intense and fast paced program and I was interested in improving and giving back to the program. I teach/train current clinical laboratory science students on infectious diseases. I'm very passionate about teaching upcoming students because not a lot of people know about the very important work that we do and I want to spread the word.
