About Me

A Kansas native and former Nebraska Cornhusker, I have spent the last few years working on the 'Black Homesteaders in the Great Plains', a collaborative public history project aimed at enriching historical narratives of the Great Plains. I am currently spreading Nebraska nice in the Twin Cities as a current Master candidate in the Heritage Studies and Public History program at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. I am ready and confident in my abilities to enrich individuals through multiple perspectives and to foster curiosity for the discipline I grew to know and love.
