About Me

I am currently enrolled at Messiah College as a junior; my degree will be in Human Development and Family Science, with a minor in Child and Youth Services. I have worked with young children in volunteering for my classes, and I often assist friends with writing. I tutor in writing for all ages, elementary school, and English. I love to tutor in writing because it is such an important thing to be able to express oneself through that medium. I also enjoy working with younger kids because that is what I would like to do with my degree. My teaching style is based on the student, and it is focused on empowering the student to figure things out on their own by encouraging their abilities and teaching core principles. Outside of school, I run my Etsy shop for calligraphy and other hand art! I love to be outside and visit coffee shops as well.
