I have been tutoring or teaching in some capacity since 2007, when I first began peer tutoring high school students. Since then, I have worked as an educational intern, teacher's assistant, seminar teacher, and professional tutor. I am passionate about helping students reach their full potential and develop the skills and confidence to succeed in every area of their education. My favorite subjects to tutor are Math and English, but I also tutor a wide variety of other subjects. I get a great deal of satisfaction from helping students connect to a book or concept that they previously could not understand, and making learning fun! I believe strongly in helping students develop their confidence and opening them up to their own potential for learning and growth. Outside of the classroom, I am training as an opera singer, and I love to read, knit, and cook.
