About Me

I'm a German student at the University of Texas, studying to become a German teacher. Helping students overcome their challenges and improve their German proficiency is something I love to do. My interest in foreign languages started in middle school, and since then I've had a lot of first-hand experience with the language-learning process. I understand that learning a new language can be uniquely intimidating, which is why I believe an important part of my job is making my students feel comfortable to challenge themselves and try new things. Besides German I'm also pursuing a minor in Russian language, and in my free time I sing opera.
