About Me

I am a graduate of Queens College. I received my Bachelor in Science and Communication Disorders. Many of my classes incorporated English and science so I have a strong foundation for these two areas. Since graduation, I have been tutoring children of all ages in reading and English. If writing a essay or analyzing a article is difficult for you, I can certainly help! While I tutor in science and other subjects, I am most passionate about English, Literature, and Reading. I have been tutoring since high school in a program called peer mentoring, where I worked one-on-one with students. I have seen students progress tremendously with my help and guidance. I am patient, creative with my lesson plans, and encourage students to implement the strategies we use in our lesson plans in their individual work. This encourages independent thinking and success when working alone. I believe every student has potential and I am looking forward to helping student meet their fullest potential.
