About Me

I graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a B.A. in Spanish and minors in linguistics and public health. I've lived in Spain for two years, I've studied abroad in Chile, and I've also taught Spanish 101 subsections at WashU. My passion for the language grew and so did my love for teaching during my time as a subsection instructor. It was great to develop good relationships with my students and to help them not only pick up a foreign language, but also truly enjoy the process. Since I've studied Spanish as a foreign language, I understand exactly what students are going through. I always try to apply what worked for me in an attempt to help the students grasp difficult topics; however, I understand the importance of providing individual attention, as I know that every learner has a different way of picking up certain topics. I am dedicated to helping students succeed and I strive to help them figure things out on their own and experience the joy of reaching their goals.
