I am currently a mathematics professor at a community college, where I teach both online and on-ground classes, teaching everything from college prep math to college algebra to basic and advanced statistics. Before this position, I taught electronics and computer networking at a technical institute and mathematics and computers at a career college. I enjoy teaching and tutoring math and science, trying to make both subjects relatable to everyday situations, understandable and fun. My goal is to help students first understand how certain mathematical principles work, because then it will be easier for them to learn how to apply them appropriately. When I am not teaching, I enjoy woodworking and reading science fiction.
