I have a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Communication, with a minor in Psychology. I am currently in a Master's degree for Psychology. I am a part of two national honor societies and will soon be joining my third. Alongside my accomplishments in education, I also am a Certified Speech Writer and will be presenting an original paper at the PCA/ACA Annual Conference this spring. I was an adjunct professor for Communication for two semesters at Southern Utah University and was a Presentation Specialist before that. While adjuncting, I worked as a Student Mentor for the Student Disabilities Center at my University. I also worked as an Academic Coach for an online high school where I met with them weekly on Skype. My Master's thesis was written on student learning. I have a passion for teaching and watching students succeed.

I believe learning should be fun and relevant. I try to make any subject relatable and applicable. How can you help a student become an independent learner? I can teach them organizational and study skills. Time management is HUGE for independent learning, and I know a lot of tricks to help.
