I graduated from Coe College with a Bachelor's degree in Spanish. Upon completion of my undergraduate degree I attended and graduated from Ashford University with a Masters in education where I also specialized in teaching English to speakers of other languages. Currently, I am pursuing a degree in law. I am a licensed Spanish teacher, and I taught two years of high school Spanish in Iowa. I also spent a summer teaching English to adults in Barcelona, Spain. I would say, however I have the strongest passion for tutoring Spanish because I believe it so important to learn to a second language. My teaching philosophy is that you're never too old or too young to learn. Therefore I like to better my tutoring by focusing on the best way to relate to students of different ages and levels because we don't all learn the same. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy sports. I am an avid fan of college and professional basketball, and I play soccer on adult recreational teams. I also, play the guitar and piano, and I love to go to the movies.
