I am a first year medical student at the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University. I have been a private tutor in the past in subjects such as math, biology, chemistry, and the SATs and every single one of my more than twenty students have shown significant improvement. Most importantly, I have a passion for teaching, and your needs and preferences as the learner will always be paramount. I hope to help every one of my students reach every bit of their potential, and along the way, to utterly shatter any self-induced limitations that have been placed upon what they can accomplish.

I am a graduate from Georgetown University, where I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics with a minor in Music. I'm currently pursuing a Master's of Science in Business Analytics at Carnegie Mellon University. I've been tutoring since I started high school, focusing on mathematics and writing. Throughout my college career I was employed both privately and by Georgetown University to tutor peers and high school students in the Washington, D.C. area. I worked with students taking classes in all levels of mathematics falling under Algebra, Calculus, Combinatorics, and Problem Solving.

I'm a first-year med student at Pitt Med. I graduated from Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts with a BS in Biology this past May. As much as I love medicine and the hard sciences, most of my tutoring experience is in general ACT prep, in addition to academic and creative writing, middle school math and reading, and high school and college math. Some of my favorite all-time classes were medical sociology in college and AP US Government and Politics in high school. Through Tufts, I taught English as a second language (3 semesters) and citizenship exam prep (1 semester) to Hispanic immigrants and refugees, which taught me a lot about how to gauge students' understanding, teach tough subjects, plan activities, provide flashcards and the best possible study materials, and make the most of the students' time. I love tutoring because I know how much a tutor's patience one-on-one can make the difference. I love sharing my study tips and test-taking strategies so they can study efficiently and make the best use of their time to get that desired result. I want students to feel heard and supported and help them find methods best suited to them. I want to help students enjoy learning and find more confidence in themselves through mastering tough subject matter.

I am currently studying molecular biology and I hope to work at a pediatric hospital after graduating from medical school. As an undergraduate, I am involved in volunteering organizations, photography, dance companies, and Asian-American political organizations.

I am in my second year at MIT studying mathematics, and I am currently doing a research project in Spectral Graph Theory. I have been a tutor since my junior year in high school, and I enjoy teaching all levels of math; everything from pre-algebra through calculus and linear algebra! I focus primarily on making sure that the definitions and processes given in class make intuitive sense, so that math can begin to feel like second nature.

I am a senior with a Neuroscience major at Swarthmore College. My favorite subjects include Biology and Psychology. I am interested in teaching students how to develop a better grasp of their academic material, improve their learning skills, and succeed in whatever course they take. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy playing violin, reading, and traveling. I also have extensive community service experience and have traveled to China, Kenya, and the Dominican Republic to engage in volunteer work.

I'm currently pursuing an MFA in Creative Writing at Temple University. I love working with children and young adults, and I'm thrilled to be spending some time tutoring this spring.

I am a rising fourth-year medical student at Perelman SOM at the University of Pennsylvania currently taking time off from school. I am a Yale 2014 graduate (B.S. in Molecular Biophysics & Biochemistry). I spent my gap year doing wet lab research in a biochemistry lab at the main NIH campus in Bethesda, Maryland, My parents are both university math professors with a natural gift for teaching that I believe they passed on to me. I hope to apply for residency in Internal Medicine or Psychiatry and down the line in my career to teach medical students while practicing in and academic or private-practice setting. I specialize in MCAT testing but am hoping to tutor for the SAT as well, and possibly AP exams. In my free time I enjoy rock climbing, running, working out, playing video games, and dabbling in random hobbies (most recently crochet!).

I'm a student at Northeastern University studying computer engineering. My plan is to graduate in 2022 with a Bachelor's in Computer Engineering and a Master's in Engineering Management. I'm from Malvern, PA and graduated from Great Valley High School in 2017. I haven't had any official tutoring experience, but I have helped my younger sister with homework, mostly math homework, my whole life. I really enjoy teaching math because it is something I began to learn at an advanced level at a young age, and I like to teach those things I learned to others. I also like to to teach SAT because I worked very hard for my SATs and went to a prep course and learned lots of tips and I'd like to pass those on to other students. In my free time, I like to write and cook! Hope I can be of some help to you in whatever subjects you need help with!!

I am an undergraduate student at the University of Pennsylvania. I have been tutoring for over 6 years now, and I have found it to be an extremely rewarding and enjoyable experience. I specialize in mathematics, particularly at the high school level, and I also have experience tutoring other subjects. I also have done SAT prep for the mathematics section of the New SAT and am very familiar with the recent changes to the exam. My belief is that everyone is capable of learning with enough time, explanation, and practice, and I hope to pass this on to all the students I work with. For this reason, I believe in teaching students how to think and problem solve, rather than just having them memorize patterns or facts.
