I am a highly enthusiastic tutor with a keen interest in teaching students with the learning style that maximizes their learning potential. I aim to not only raise your child's grades but also foster characteristics of an independent learner to ensure their future academic success.

I'm a great tutor because I'm a great listener with 10+ years in language education. I am a certified and accredited language coach; my approach prioritizes facilitating the learner's independent growth and psychological homeostasis. My students and coachees always feel respected because I nurture their learning process and provide clear guideposts of what to expect at every step of the lesson. This both motivates the learner toward a clear goal and reduces their anxiety.

I am passionate about programming, math and stats as well. My goal is to go into academia because I love learning and sharing what I have learnt with others. I never found learning new concepts easy or intuitive, so I always start from the simplest case when I teach.

I am extremely excited to share my passion for these subjects with other students. Though math and science can often be intimidating, I hope to show how approachable these subjects really are. Everyone can succeed in math and science if they want!

I am a Stanford graduate with a B.S. in Science, Technology, and Society and a B.A. in Anthropology. I am currently completing my M.D. at the University of Rochester. In July, I will continue on to residency within otolaryngology-head and neck surgery.

I am currently an undergraduate student studying Physics and Applied Mathematics. I believe there are multiple approaches to tutoring as every person learns differently. While I may not be as experienced as other tutors, I am very motivated and always work with my students until I am sure they fully understand their material. In my spare time, I love reading (often about physics and mathematics) and listening to a variety of music.

I am currently a graduate student at Institute of Optics at the University of Rochester conducting research in Biophysical Chemistry. I recently graduated in June 2017 from the University of California - Irvine with two Bachelor degrees. One was in Biomedical Engineering and the other was in Materials Science and Engineering.
