I am a recent graduate from Carnegie Mellon University with a dual degree in Chemical and Biomedical Engineering. I have several years of tutoring experience in math, English, and broad sciences for kindergarten to high schoolers. Additionally, I have tutored several students for the SAT and ACT who have had favorable results. I truly enjoy working with school students to help them further their education and have made it a part of my routine since highschool.

I am a student at the Honors College of Rutgers - New Brunswick. I am currently working towards attaining a B.S. in Biochemistry, as well as a minor in Business and Administration. Over the last five years, I have reconciled my passion for teaching and my desire to interact with fellow students through tutoring. While I have tutored in a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about science, math, and English. Having taught many students, each of whom were different in terms of personality and learning style, I understand the importance of tailoring the lesson to the student's strengths. As a result, I work to create unique, individualized learning plans that engage the student and make learning feel like an opportunity, rather than a chore.

I am most comfortable teaching the SAT Reading/Writing and helping youths with their personal statements. Furthermore, my one-year experience as an AmeriCorps VISTA for PeaceJam Foundation – an award-winning organization that promotes service learning and peacekeeping through the combined efforts of Nobel Peace Laureates and young people – has instilled in me a deep reverence and hope for our youths today. I strongly believe in our youths’ limitless potential to pursue their dreams and become agents of positive social change and know I will be an excellent mentor/coach through their journey.

I am passionate about education, learning, teaching, and specifically literatures and languages. I have experience as an ESL teacher for young children and teens, as well as experience working as a Writing Consultant at my undergraduate institution. I also spent all four years of my undergraduate career volunteering as an SAT tutor for local high schoolers. Beyond this, I have experience both as a private and public Spanish tutor. I love to help students reach their educational and personal goals in any way that I can.

I am eager to share this with the students of Varsity Tutors. I with students from K-12 in the US, university students in China, mentally disabled adults in Harlem, and villagers in Mozambique. My favorite subject is biology and I also particularly enjoy writing, but I am happy to work on a variety of subjects with students.

I am current student at The University of Chicago. I have extensive experience working with children in multiple settings. I am passionate about teaching, and hope I will be able to assist you in overcoming any academic struggles.

I am a Honors student at Rutgers University studying Psychology and Spanish. I have experience teaching and tutoring students from elementary school to university and love helping students reach academic goals. I tutor Spanish, Psychology, Statistics, Sociology, and English along with test prep. I tutor SAT, ACT, SAT subject tests in Spanish and Math. I am a passionate educator with a strong background in computer science, mathematics, and STEM subjects. Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science with focuses on artificial intelligence and education at Purdue University, I have been tutoring since high school, where I began teaching coding to middle and high school students. Over the years, I've had the privilege of helping students excel in a variety of subjects, including AP courses(APCSA - 5, AP Calc AB - 5, AP World - 4), SAT preparation(1590), and programming. My favorite subjects to tutor are mathematics and coding because they not only build critical thinking skills but also empower students to solve real-world problems creatively. I enjoy breaking down complex concepts into manageable steps, tailoring my teaching approach to each student's unique learning style. I believe in fostering a growth mindsetencouraging students to embrace challenges as opportunities to grow and learn. Beyond academics, I have a deep interest in soccer and motorsports, and I love integrating real-life examples from these areas to make lessons engaging and relatable. My goal as a tutor is to build students' confidence, inspire a lifelong love of learning, and equip them with the skills they need to achieve their goals.
