I am currently in my 5th year as a public school teacher. I have a Bachelors degree in Secondary Education, and a Masters degree in Curriculum & Instruction from the University of Kansas. I've taught all levels of high school English in my career, as well as working as an adjunct professor for a local community college, and as a Freshman Volleyball coach.

I'm a junior at the University of Arizona majoring in Creative Writing and Japanese, and I am quite passionate about both of those subjects. To me, passion is what makes a life worth living -- if someone doesn't do what makes them happy, it makes for a rather dull existence.

I'm most passionate about Science, English, Math, and Film. In my experience helping students raise their grades to passing marks, I have had the most success starting with a part of the subject the student enjoys or understands best and relate it to what they are having issues grasping until they feel confident enough to tackle the whole problem completely.

I'm a writer, with three traditionally published mysteries and a children's book. Currently I have a TV pilot and political thriller at market.

I am a graduate of Arizona State University. I received a Bachelor of Science in Physics with a Minor in Chemistry with honors.
