I have a passion for teaching and learning. I think math is fun. Doing math is like solving a puzzle.

I am a tutor available to teach a wide range of subjects, ranging from test prep to math and history. I am interested in helping any student with a desire to improve their understanding their subject of choice. My personal favorite are history, literature, economics and politics. I have worked with a diverse age group of students, from elementary to university level, with the bulk of my experience with high school and college level work.I have a Master's Degree from the University of Washington in Public Administration and a BA from the University of Texas at Dallas in International Political Economy. Apart from academics, I enjoy photography and kayaking.

As a student, I always excelled in standardized testing and developed a number of strategies that I enjoy sharing with students studying for the SAT, ACT, and GRE. My favorite subjects to tutor are Spanish, writing, history, and math for all levels. I love helping students see their own potential for success and discover their strengths. I am currently pursuing a masters program in Business Administration at Texas Southern University. At the University of Pennsylvania, I have had the privilege of working for our Tutoring Center, which offers private student tutors to fellow peers struggling in a particular subject. In particular, I have spent my time at Penn tutoring Calculus and Physics, two of my favorite pre-med subjects. Instead, I focused on my studies and in May 2015 I graduated Suma Cum Laude from my high school, and achieved my four year goal of receiving the IB diploma. I am a sophomore at the University of South Florida and am majoring in Integrative Animal Biology with, hopefully, a minor in anthropology.
