I left high school and entered into college full-time when I was only 14, and transferred to a UC campus as a junior by the time I was 17. I received my Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences at UC Merced, and my Masters in Public Administration at Cal State Long Beach. My academic path has been quite unconventional, but it gave me the opportunity familiarize myself with a wide range of subjects. I am currently continuing my education in the medical sector, and volunteer at a local hospital with some of my spare time. I'm very confident in my ability to tutor all subjects, but I am most experienced in tutoring students in math and science. Based on my experience, students tend to learn best when they're taught to understand concepts, rather than being asked to memorize. During my study breaks, I enjoy swimming, bike riding, cooking and, more importantly, eating.

I am a graduate of Western Connecticut State University, currently working towards a Dental Doctorate degree at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. I took a gap year before starting dental school. During this time, I became a 7th-grade teacher; this experience shaped my understanding of the current educational needs in private and public institutions. Many children needed one-to-one tutoring, which I could not provide as a teacher. I enjoy teaching in a classroom, but I found that my strengths lie in one-to-one interaction. It is easy for students to fall behind, especially with the increasing classroom size. A lot of learning happens outside of school, and without guidance, this learning is often not effective. My goal is to bridge this gap, so no child is left behind because I strive to help my students reach the necessary milestones to ensure they become the best learners they could be.

All it takes is a nicely worded analogy to any video game and boom! You now understand Organic Chemistry. You may think it's not that simple, but understanding complex topics doesn't require a PhD. Being able to put the knowledge in your own terms and make any material sound familiar makes mastery just around the door. Teaching the material well is important to me, but what's more important is getting to know who is learning the material and adjusting it to their liking.Besides my values, I am a pre-Medical, Data Science major at UT Dallas. I enjoy tutoring Organic chemistry, Calculus. When it comes to tutoring and learning, I prioritize giving meaningful practice problems that target specific concepts without distractions. If you want to feel ready for any test question, you've come to the right person.

I am a biochemistry major at Columbia University in New York City. My love for the sciences began from a fascination with pharmacology and physiology, and ever since, I've developed a strong passion for all the processes that accompany these topics. As such, my expertise is not limited to solely biology and chemistry, but the other subjects that contribute to a holistic understanding of biochemical processes, such as calculus and physics.I love helping others not only comprehend science and math subjects, but to develop an appreciation and deeply intuitive understanding for these subjects we unknowingly encounter on a daily basis. Despite popular opinion, I don't believe rote memorization is the only way to learn STEM subjects; in fact, I believe it's a rather ineffective approach. My approach to teaching biology, math, chemistry, and organic chemistry has always involved helping individuals discover their own intuitive methodology with learning these often intimidating subjects. Additionally, I love giving advice to maximize efficiency with learning.A little bit about me: I'm originally from Pakistan, but I was born and raised in the US. Before COVID, I was working as a fashion model and got to live in Australia for 3 years, and then in between London and Berlin for a year after. Besides tutoring, I work as an EMT (Emergency Medical Technician).Currently, I'm primarily looking for college and high-school students wanting to learn/strengthen their skills in organic chemistry and calculus.

I received my B.S in Biochemistry from Le Moyne College, Syracuse NY. Currently, I'm a Doctoral student pursuing a medical degree at Texas A&M and I will graduate in May. I have been tutoring undergraduates since 2007. I have tutored science classes, Arabic, and mathematics. My favorite subject is Organic chemistry because I was a TA and workshop leader for 2 years. I also did 2 years of organic chemistry research. My passion to tutor comes from my love to education and knowledge. I have found that my teaching style changes according to the subject and student I am tutoring. My goal is to get my students not only a good score but also the confidence to use the information they learn in everyday life. I also love helping students in their everyday life so I worked as a Resident Advisor in dorms of my college for three years. I love playing my guitar, dancing, playing basketball and reading

I have received my Bachelor of Science degree from Stony Brook University in May 2014, graduating with Summa Cum Laude distinction. In college, I have studied biochemistry as a major, philosophy as a minor, and have been an active teaching assistant for general chemistry, physics, biochemistry, and genetics at the University. Throughout these wonderful experiences, I have worked with many students under many different settings and have experience in both one-on-one tutoring and group tutoring. Not only am I diligent in actively engaging my students into the academic material, but I am also experienced in coming up with strategic methods as to how they can improve. I try to look out for the cause of the students’ confusion, and then move on to resolve it by teaching the student the key concepts that are necessary for understanding the material. As of now, I am tutoring Algebra, Algebra 2, Algebra 3/4, Arithmetic, Elementary Math, Middle School Math, Pre-Algebra, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Genetics, Honors Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physics, Physiology, MCAT Biological Sciences, and MCAT Physical Sciences. Every student deserves the most attention that he or she needs, and I am deeply committed, as well as strongly determined, to help my students excel in these areas.
