I'm a former NYC high school teacher with a master's degree from Pace University's School of Education. I have also worked as a college tutor, a high school mentor, and a teaching assistant in New Orleans. I have experience with a wide range of ages and abilities and am passionate about getting to know the strengths and challenges of each student. In my spare time, I love to read, bike, and try new recipes.

I am a Seattle-based actress and singer originally from Illinois -- I moved to the Seattle area in 2000. I also work part-time at a non-profit guardianship firm downtown. (We look out for the financial and healthcare needs of the elderly and the physically and mentally disabled.) I am an anglophile and ailurophile (look them up! :-)), and I love theatre, movies, Gonzaga basketball (I went to law school there), and Chicago Cubs baseball.
