I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry at Hunter College, where I have developed a strong foundation in both science and communication. My passion for teaching has led me to tutor students in various subjects, including AP English Language and Composition and Elementary School Reading, for over two years. I believe in fostering a supportive learning environment that encourages students to express themselves and develop their critical thinking skills. My approach emphasizes hands-on learning and personalized feedback, which I find helps students connect with the material and build confidence in their abilities. I am motivated by the opportunity to inspire others and share the knowledge I have gained through my own academic journey. Balancing my education with work experience in the deli business has honed my time management skills and taught me the value of dedication, which I strive to impart to my students. I am excited about the chance to contribute to the Varsity Tutor program and help students achieve their academic goals.
