Hi! My name is Jourdan, and I'm passionate about helping students build confidence and succeed in math and science. I've spent the past 6 years teaching 3rd-5th grade math and science, guiding students through everything from fractions and problem-solving to hands-on science investigations. Over the years, I've developed a talent for breaking down tough concepts into clear, simple steps that students can actually enjoy learning.
One of my specialties is preparing students for the STAAR test. I know how stressful testing can feel, so I focus on strategies that not only help students master the content but also build their test-taking confidence. My sessions balance practice with encouragement, giving students the tools they need to show what they know on test day.
Every child learns differently, and I make sure to tailor my lessons to fit each student's needs and learning style. Whether your child needs extra support with math facts, science concepts, or STAAR strategies, I provide a safe and supportive environment where they can ask questions, make mistakes, and grow.
