I'm a dedicated Biomedical Engineering student at Penn State University Park, balancing academics, EMT training, and research with a deep passion for mentoring students and shaping the next generation. My long-term goal is to break barriers in my own life so I can pave the way for others from challenging backgrounds and inspire them to reach beyond perceived limits. I plan to pursue medical school, where I can combine my technical training, service experience, and passion for education to make a broader impact in both healthcare and my community.

For the past two years, I have tutored General Chemistry I and II, College Math, Pre-Calculus, Statistics, and Biology. Chemistry is my favorite subject to tutor because I understand how overwhelming it can feel. I enjoy breaking down complex concepts into simpler terms and watching students leave sessions more confident and capable than when they arrived. I aim to turn academic challenges into manageable goals by equipping students with strategies that build independence and resilience.

My teaching philosophy is rooted in adaptability, clarity, and empowerment. I assess each student's unique strengths and tailor my approach to support steady progress. I typically begin by encouraging students to test newly learned ideas. Based on their comfort level, I then provide targeted explanations and guide them through additional practice. This hands-on approach allows students to gain confidence, reinforce understanding, and correct mistakes in real time. My goal is not just for students to pass, but to truly understand, apply, and grow.
