As a passionate educator currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Theatre at Saginaw Valley State University, I bring over 2 years of tutoring experience across diverse subjects, including Algebra, Earth Science, and the arts. My teaching philosophy centers on listening to students and adapting my methods to meet their unique needs, fostering a supportive and engaging environment. I have worked extensively with K-12 students, as well as adults with special needs, allowing me to develop a versatile approach to instruction. Beyond academics, I am enthusiastic about integrating creativity into learning, whether through music, drawing, or even video games like Roblox, which I believe can enhance coordination and problem-solving skills. I am dedicated to helping students succeed academically while nurturing their individual interests and talents.

In my freetime I enjoy gardening, drawing, video games, social media and playing with my dogs. I also enjoy comedies and older horror movies. You can sometimes find me singing karaoke at a local coffee shop. I spend a good deal of time reading the news. I also advocate for minorities/other communities as well on occasion. I find it important to learn languages, to learn about other cultures and to continue to try to adjust my beliefs accordingly. I have made it my goal to better understand programming this year to expand my teaching qualifications. So in whole, I am hoping to influence others for the better on here so we can all grow as people. Whether that be through learning something new or a fun convo about our passions in this world.
