My love for learning started with great teachers who helped me see that education is about exploring, creating, and solving real problems. I studied Business and Finance at Florida College and am now working on a second degree in Computer Science at Western Governors University.
Growing up with a classical education, I spent a lot of time reading and writing, which built a strong foundation in English. That's part of why I also enjoy helping students with reading and writing skills, along with math and computer science.
For the past couple of years, I've tutored high school and college students in subjects like algebra, programming, business, and writing. I especially enjoy algebra because it feels like solving puzzles, and programming because it turns ideas into something you can actually build.
In tutoring, I focus on meeting students where they are and building a strong relationship first. I believe that trust and connection are key to helping students thrive. I work to create an environment where they feel safe asking questions, making mistakes, and growing from them. I adjust each session to fit their needs and use real-life examples to make things easier to understand. My goal is to help students feel more confident, curious, and supported in their learning.
Outside of academics, I enjoy hiking, painting, coding small projects, and playing strategy board games. These hobbies often help me connect with students and keep our sessions fun and engaging. Most of all, I want students to see learning as something exciting that helps them grow.

Painting – I enjoy being creative and expressing ideas through art. Camping – I love spending time outdoors and enjoying nature. Adventuring – Whether it’s traveling somewhere new or exploring a local trail, I’m always up for a new experience. Board Games – I enjoy friendly competition and playing strategy or cooperative games with friends and family. Running – Staying active helps me think clearly and stay energized. And if I get to do any of the things above with my wife, I love it even more.
