I hold a Bachelor's degree in English Literature, a Bachelor's in Theatre Arts, and worked toward a minor in Art History. I also hold a graduate teaching certificate from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. With over 14 years of experience in tutoring and classroom teaching, I specialize in High School English, Middle School Reading, Poetry, and Public Speaking. I am passionate about language arts, believing that reading and writing are interconnected. My teaching philosophy centers on understanding each student's unique learning style, allowing me to tailor lessons that resonate with their interests, whether through literature discussions or creative writing prompts. I strive to create an engaging and supportive environment where students feel empowered to find their voices. Additionally, my background in theater enhances my approach, fostering confidence in public speaking and self-expression.
