I received my BA from the University of Washington in Political Science and Directing with Honors distinction, and am starting my first year at Brooklyn Law School. As a tutor, my passion is for helping students best articulate their ideas and develop strong frameworks for argumentation and research.
I am a born and raised New Yorker, and have been tutoring for over eight years, most recently as a writing tutor for my department in university. I have helped students from middle school to graduate school, focusing on Academic Applications, Writing, English, and History. My personal work specializes in Human Rights Law and Environmental Justice, and I have been lucky enough to speak at various universities and embassies across the country for my research.
I have personally been through the NYC High School application process (SHSAT, ISEE, TACHS exams), as well as the undergraduate and law school application process. From this, I understand how to best help students build their own narratives and position themselves in the best way for admissions offices. As a writing tutor at a large international university, I gained additional experience working with ESL (English Second Language) students and students with learning disabilities.

Degree: University of Washington - Bachelor's, Political Science (Honors)
Before university, I attended Laguardia High School of the Performing Arts. I am a classically trained vocalist and pianist, with a personal passion for blues, jazz, and folk rock music. While I love swimming and archery, in Seattle I was able to try sky diving, bungee jumping, and paragliding. I am a big reader and enjoy competitive debate, as I coached Public Forum style debate for several years, which very much influenced my current legal career path.
