As a passionate tutor with a Master's in Accounting and Information Systems from Virginia Tech, I have over 15 years of experience in the audit field within various industries including healthcare, banking, and Software as a Service. My tutoring philosophy centers on understanding each student's unique learning style and tailoring my approach to foster their success. I believe that real-world experience enhances learning; therefore, I draw on my extensive background in financial accounting, audit, and cybersecurity compliance and risk management to provide relatable examples that clarify complex concepts. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring the material deeply. I am excited to share my knowledge and help students achieve their certification goals, as I find immense satisfaction in seeing them succeed.

Outside of work, I am a huge fan of Universal Studios Orlando; my family/friends and I make multiple trips down per year (and sometimes swing through the House of the Mouse as well). When I'm not riding rollercoasters, I am also an avid Lego collector...which can be quite the expensive hobby as an adult!
