I am a recent summa cum laude graduate from Duke University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry, and I am excited to begin my PhD in Immunology at Harvard this fall. My tutoring experience spans over two years, primarily leading study groups in subjects such as organic chemistry, microbiology, and biochemistry, where I emphasize understanding fundamental concepts over rote memorization. I believe that fostering a deep comprehension of scientific principles prepares students to tackle diverse problems and enhances their critical thinking skills.

My research background, including two first-author publications, allows me to guide students through complex scientific literature and argument analysis effectively. I am passionate about helping students connect different scientific ideas, and I also enjoy teaching writing skills to improve their argumentative expression.

Outside of academia, I have a keen interest science education, having designed an educational science camp in southern Chile, where I taught cell biology to middle school students, reinforcing my belief in the power of hands-on learning.
