Certified Tutor

As a dedicated tutor with a passion for both biology and Spanish, I strive to create engaging learning experiences that empower my students. Currently, I am a senior at the University of Michigan, pursuing a dual degree in Biology and Spanish. I have experience as an undergraduate teaching assistant for an introductory biology course, where I work closely with students, addressing their unique learning needs through tailored lesson plans. I work with both midsize group instruction and one on one instruction as part of this role. I understand that not every student learns the same, and my teaching philosophy centers on active listening and adapting to student feedback, ensuring that I provide the support necessary for them to thrive. I believe that every student can succeed in science and language, and I am committed to helping them build confidence and a solid foundation in these subjects. My own journey in learning has inspired me to bridge gaps in understanding, making complex topics relatable and accessible. I look forward to sharing my enthusiasm and knowledge with students through Varsity Tutors.
