Certified Tutor
I am a pre-medical student entering my third year of college, transferring from UCSD to the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor to complete my Bachelor's degree in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. I have tutored peers through my high school's Math and Science National Honor Societies, helping students succeed in Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Calculus (AP AB/BC), and AP Biology. In college, I've continued to support classmates in study groups, particularly in rigorous STEM courses like General and Organic Chemistry.
I tutor middle and high school math and science (including Honors and AP), with a focus on Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Biology, Physics and Chemistry. I'm especially passionate about helping students gain confidence and mastery in Biology, Calculus, and Chemistry turning intimidating material into something approachable and manageable.
My teaching style is example-driven and concept-focused. I walk students through problems step-by-step, reinforce core principles, and share effective strategies and notes I've developed. My goal is to help students build lasting skills and confidence to tackle any challenge.
