Hi! I have been a social science researcher for 20+ years and have a doctorate in developmental psychology from Penn State University. With over four years of tutoring and teaching experience, I specialize in psychology, statistics, social science research methods, analytic software (SPSS, Excel, etc.), and writing. I also specialize in teaching statistics and other technical material to students who are uncomfortable with such topics. I employ a variety of teaching methods tailored to individual learning styles, challenges, and neurodiversity to ensure that every student can access the material, learn, and gain confidence in their skills. I teach using clear explanations and examples, practical, real-world applications of the material, demonstrations, and hands-on learning experiences. I am passionate about teaching because I find immense joy in witnessing students overcome their challenges and build confidence in their skills.
