Certified Tutor
As a heritage Spanish speaker with a Dominican and Cuban background, my passion for the Spanish language is deeply rooted in my cultural experiences. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science and Spanish from Auburn University and am currently pursuing a Master's in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.
At Auburn, I was the president of el club de espaol and have 4 years of experience in helping students become fluent in Spanish. I specialize in teaching Conversational Spanish and Spanish 1, focusing on helping students connect with the language as a living expression of culture and identity.
My approach is interactive and immersive, using music, dance, and storytelling to make learning enjoyable and relevant. I encourage students to explore the diverse dialects and cultural nuances of Spanish, tailoring lessons to their interests and community context. I believe that understanding the rich history and variety of the Spanish language transforms learning into an engaging journey, fostering not just fluency but also a deeper appreciation for the cultures that shape it.
Outside of tutoring, I enjoy traveling, dancing salsa and bachata, and discovering new cultural perspectives through language.

I’m currently a medical student on a mission to master the language of healthcare — learning how our bodies communicate through illness and healing. Just like in medicine, I believe language is all about connection and understanding. I’m a lifelong learner and love exploring new, proven ways to make learning fun, engaging, and effective — whether it’s a language or a science concept. I bring that same energy into every tutoring session. Outside of med school, you’ll usually find me traveling, dancing bachata and salsa, or discovering new cultures and perspectives. I love how Spanish brings people together, and I can’t wait to share that joy with you!
