As a senior at George Washington University, I am pursuing a Bachelor's degree in International Affairs with a concentration in Security Policy, complemented by minors in Political Science and Russian Language and Literature. My passion for history and politics, nurtured by growing up with a father who is a history teacher, drives me to share knowledge with others. Although I have not formally tutored, I have supported peers in subjects like history and civics, leveraging my experience working in the Pennsylvania State House and the U.S. House of Representatives. I am eager to help high school and undergraduate students excel in AP Human Geography, AP U.S. History, and Russian, using tailored lesson plans that engage students and build on their foundational knowledge. My teaching philosophy centers on fostering a supportive environment where learning is enjoyable, helping students connect with subjects that may initially seem daunting. Additionally, my background as an award-winning filmmaker enriches my approach, allowing me to incorporate creative methods into my tutoring sessions.
