As a passionate tutor with a Bachelor's in Biology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, I have over two years of experience in both classroom and one-on-one settings. My primary focus is on Pre-Algebra and I thrive on making complex concepts accessible to my students. I believe in a student-centered approach, tailoring my teaching methods to each learner's unique strengths and challenges. By incorporating visual aids, real-world examples, and active recall techniques, I empower students to build confidence and achieve academic success. My experience as a teaching assistant for General Biology and General Chemistry has further honed my ability to communicate effectively with diverse learners. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy exploring scientific literature and engaging in outdoor activities, which I believe enrich my teaching perspective.
