I am a results driven educator with a Master's degree in Education from CUNY City College of New York. Before becoming a teacher I worked as a private tutor for three years. I am currently in my eigth year as a classroom teacher. My first 5 years I taught in New York City and my last three have been in Florida.

My approach centers on understanding each student's unique and individual needs, allowing me to transform their weaknesses into strengths through tailored instruction. I believe in creating engaging lessons that connect English language arts with historical context, fostering critical thinking and improving communication skills. I thrive in small group and one to one settings, where I can offer personalized attention and support, and I utilize diverse resources like Google Classroom and Khan Academy to enhance learning. I am excited to inspire students to achieve their academic goals and develop a lifelong love for learning.

My goal is to help students see the immense value in pursuing their own education independently.
