As a passionate educator with a Doctorate in Philosophy from University College Dublin, I have over two years of experience teaching and tutoring a diverse range of subjects, particularly in the humanities and social sciences. Currently, I serve as an adjunct faculty member at Marymount University, where I emphasize critical thinking and effective communication in my courses, including business ethics and various philosophy topics. My teaching philosophy centers on tailoring lesson plans to meet individual student needs, incorporating real-world examples and contemporary technology to engage learners. I believe in fostering a supportive environment where students feel comfortable exploring complex ideas, and my experience with diverse student populations, including those with learning barriers, has honed my ability to connect with varying learning styles. Outside of academia, I enjoy exploring philosophical texts and engaging in discussions that challenge conventional thinking, further fueling my dedication to nurturing students' intellectual growth.

My personal interests are as diverse as my professional experiences, spanning both intellectual pursuits and physically engaging activities. I have a deep-rooted passion for language learning with a strong background in Spanish; I am also currently studying Chinese and Russian. Music – especially jazz – holds a central place in my life; I play jazz guitar and am also involved in music production and criticism. Physical activity is another cornerstone of my daily routine, with a strong emphasis on martial arts and strength training, which help cultivate both mental and physical discipline. In terms of intellectual interests, I’m particularly drawn to topics in geopolitics and economics, including areas like monetary policy. I’m also fascinated by the evolving landscape of social media and its influence on communication and the spread of information. I look forward to continuing to explore these interests, deepening my understanding, and potentially sharing my insights through writing and discussion.
