Certified Tutor

As a passionate educator with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education and English from the University of Puerto Rico, I bring over 15 years of experience in tutoring both English and Spanish. My teaching philosophy centers on collaboration, tailoring lesson plans to meet individual student needs, and fostering a supportive learning environment. I believe that the journey to mastering a new language is a partnership between tutor and student, as evidenced by my work with a Brazilian student who successfully passed a Spanish proficiency test after just a month of focused preparation. I am dedicated to continuous self-improvement and enjoy exploring new teaching strategies to enhance student engagement. Outside of tutoring, I love reading and immersing myself in different cultures, which enriches my perspective and approach to teaching.
