My name is Leslie Turner, and I hold a Master of Education in Teaching and Administration from Northeastern State University. With over 15 years of experience in education, I currently serve as a middle school assistant principal and have previously worked as a secondary ELA teacher, high school counselor, virtual education director and alternative education director. My passion lies in preparing students for the real work through public speaking and English Language Arts. I am passionate about helping students articulate their ideas and find their unique voices. I believe in meeting students where they are, guiding them to build on their strengths while addressing their challenges. I often serve as a coach for public speaking competitions where I have had the privilege of mentoring numerous state champions, including my daughter. I am excited to empower students in resume building, interview preparation, and personal development, fostering confidence and growth through tailored support.
