I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University and recently completed my Master's degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from Grand Canyon University. I currently teach third grade and have several years of experience working with young learners in both classroom and tutoring settings. I regularly use programs like iReady, IXL, and Wonders to support individualized instruction and help students make meaningful academic progress.
My favorite part of teaching is watching students get those light bulb moments of understanding, and helping them build confidence, especially when it comes to foundational skills like reading, writing, and math. I also have a strong background in working with English language learners and love creating engaging, supportive environments where every student feels capable and included. My tutoring style is warm, patient, and focused on helping kids learn in a way that fits them best.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy, fishing, reading, and painting. I bring a lot of energy, encouragement, and creativity into my sessions, and I'm passionate about helping students discover what they can achieve.

In my free time, I love traveling, and I’ve had the opportunity to visit 13 different countries while I studied abroad in Liverpool, England. I also enjoy fishing, reading, swimming, painting, running, and coaching competitive cheer. These hobbies keep me active, creative, and always learning, which helps me bring fresh energy and enthusiasm into my teaching.
