As an educator for life, I am passionate about helping students discover their potential and understand complex concepts in a way that is relevant to them. I hold a Doctorate in Leadership from William Woods University and have over fifteen years of experience teaching across all grade levels, from Pre-K to high school. My specialties lie in English language artsparticularly reading and writingand science, where I find exciting connections that engage students. My teaching philosophy centers on making learning pertinent to each student's life, fostering curiosity, and encouraging them to articulate their understanding. I believe in challenging students to think critically and solve problems independently. Outside of teaching, I enjoy creating pottery and jewelry, which I sell at our local farmer's market, allowing me to connect with my community and inspire creativity in my students.
