I recently graduated from the University of Indianapolis with majors in Philosophy and English and minors in History and Religion. I have worked as a Writing Lab Tutor, in philanthropy, and in magazine production. In college, I won multiple awards for academic excellence and was inducted into a prestigious international honors society.

While serving as a fundraiser and as the Senior Submissions Editor of my alma mater's literary magazine, I gained a great deal of experience in building relationships and engaging with people of differing needs and personalities. What I want to discuss in detail, however, is my background as a tutor. I am skilled in helping individuals with subjects based in the humanities, such as Philosophy, English, and History, in addition to topics in the realm of Communications. My expertise in Philosophy lies within two main categories: one that involves various parts of human history and another that focuses on modern-day issues. English-wise, my specialties are Professional Writing and Editing, but I am also well-versed in Literature and Creative Writing. My historical expertise lies mainly in American History, but I am able to help students study and write papers about other historical topics as well. As for Communications, I am equipped to help students with their Public Speaking courses, as well as other classes that require them to learn to communicate through a variety of channels and with all kinds of people.

I have succeeded in helping students write papers and conduct research on these topics and in providing them with a better understanding of this kind of material. I enjoy using my knowledge and abilities to provide students with tutoring sessions that are helpful and enjoyable. It is highly important for me to "go above and beyond" for students and to ensure their tutoring needs are being met. I look forward to sharing the joys of various subjects with students and to making a positive difference in the academic journey of each person I encounter.
