I am a soon-to-be graduate of Purdue University with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education, focusing on Reading Comprehension, and K-12 Integrated STEM instruction. Since middle school, I have been instructing students through volunteer work and placements throughout college. Each has taught me how to create appropriately challenging lessons and units that excite and develop students.
I tutor mainly reading and math subjects and focus heavily on developing necessary skills in grades K-6 to help students achieve in each unit. This also includes learning Phonemic, Phonics, and Phonological awareness skills as required by many states' classroom curricula. I am passionate about teaching students how to work through problems in ways that are relevant and make sense to them. Each child has a unique way of thinking that, when unlocked, allows them to become more successful and passionate about learning.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading and challenging myself to read classic literature as I build my library. I also enjoy swimming recreationally and competitively. But more than anything, I enjoy spending quality time with my community. Whether that be a fun day with friends and family, or taking opportunities to volunteer and give back.
