Tristan: Cleveland tutor
Certified Tutor
As a dedicated tutor with a passion for learning and helping others succeed, I bring both academic excellence and a personalized approach to every session. I'm currently a student at Georgia Tech, where I tutor student-athletes across all math levels and physics through the Georgia Tech Athletic Association. With experience tutoring subjects ranging from algebra and calculus to economics and thermodynamics, I've worked with a wide range of students each with unique strengths, challenges, and goals.
I believe that effective tutoring is about more than just explaining concepts; it's about listening, adapting, and building confidence. My teaching style is clear, structured, and supportive, designed to meet students where they are and help them grow. Whether you're struggling with the fundamentals or aiming for mastery, I'll work with you to break complex topics into manageable steps, reinforce core concepts, and develop strong problem-solving habits.
Beyond academics, I'm patient, dependable, and genuinely invested in seeing students thrivenot just in the classroom, but in their broader educational journey. If you're looking for a tutor who will take your success seriously and help you reach your full potential, I'd be honored to work with you.

Outside of tutoring, I’m someone who’s always curious and eager to learn. I enjoy exploring new topics, whether it's through reading, documentaries, or conversations that dive into personal growth and how we interact with the world around us. I also like to spend time outdoors—walking through campus or visiting local parks helps me recharge and reflect. Furthermore, golf is one of my favorite hobbies; I enjoy both playing and analyzing the game, as it challenges my focus and patience in a way that’s very different from academics. I also enjoy visiting museums, especially ones that play with perception or illusions, because they remind me how much there is to learn about how we think and see the world. Whether I’m working through a tough math problem or just taking time to slow down and reflect, I try to stay present, curious, and grounded. Finally, whenever I get the chance, I love to be with my two dogs, Georgia and Nala.
